1. Parties, Acceptance & Scope of Service

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Sese Gel mobile application and the website sesegel.com.tr, developed and operated by Alaf Teknoloji (located at Yakacık Çarşı Mah. Panorama Sok. No: 26, Kartal / İstanbul, Türkiye). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Sese Gel, you confirm that you are a parent, legal guardian, or an adult of legal age and that you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Educational Purpose & Non-Medical Disclaimer

Sese Gel is an interactive daily practice application designed to encourage children to produce vowel sounds, syllables, and everyday words through voice-activated video stops, microphone-driven games, and listen-and-repeat visual cards.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Sese Gel is NOT a medical device, clinical speech therapy service, diagnostic instrument, or healthcare provider. The application does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition, nor does it guarantee specific speech or developmental outcomes. Always consult qualified healthcare or speech-language professionals for clinical evaluation and guidance.

3. Parental Supervision, Parental Gate & Safe Environment

Sese Gel is designed to be used by children under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian. Settings, microphone sensitivity adjustments, language switching, custom video management, and voice recording tools are located inside the Parent Area, which is protected by a mathematical verification gate. Parents are responsible for configuring the appropriate sound stage (Stage 1: Long Vowels, Stage 2: Core Single-Syllable Words, Stage 3: Daily Phrases) and supervising screen time.

4. Custom Family Content (Gallery Videos, YouTube Links & Voice Recordings)

• Device Gallery Videos & Parent Voice Recordings: Any video imported from your device's photo library and any audio prompt recorded in Mom or Dad's voice are stored strictly locally on your device. Alaf Teknoloji does not upload, host, view, or distribute your personal media files.
• YouTube IFrame Embedded Links: When parents add a YouTube video link in the Parent Area, playback is provided via the official YouTube IFrame Player API. Parents are solely responsible for verifying that any external video link they add is age-appropriate for their child.
• Built-in Video Management: Parents may hide or restore any of the default built-in videos at any time through the Parent Area.

5. Intellectual Property & License of Use

All original software code, interface designs, graphics, logos, audio-visual exercise structures, and trademarks associated with Sese Gel are the intellectual property of Alaf Teknoloji and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for non-commercial family educational purposes. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or unauthorized commercial redistribution of the app is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability & Service Updates

Sese Gel is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Alaf Teknoloji continually works to keep the experience reliable and distraction-free, and reserves the right to update features, modify content modules, or revise these Terms of Use when necessary. Continued use of the application following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
