2. Real-Time On-Device Microphone & Speech Processing
When your child participates in interactive video stops, voice-activated games (such as Balloon Pop, Syllable Train, and Jumping Hero), or listen-and-repeat cards, Sese Gel accesses the device microphone to measure vocal duration, sound intensity (dB), and syllable/word articulation.
- Zero Cloud Audio Uploads by Alaf Teknoloji: Your child’s microphone audio stream is analyzed in real time on your device and is immediately discarded after the prompt finishes. Alaf Teknoloji never records, uploads, or stores your child’s voice on external servers.
- Parent Voice Recordings: Optional voice prompts recorded by Mom or Dad inside the Parent Area are saved exclusively as local audio files inside the app’s private document directory on your device.
3. Front-Camera Mirror Mode & Photo Library Permissions
- Front-Camera Mirror Mode: When Mirror Mode is enabled, the front camera displays a live on-screen mirror preview so the child can observe their own lip and mouth movements while speaking. Camera frames are rendered solely on the screen in real time and are never recorded, captured, saved, or transmitted anywhere.
- Photo Library (Custom Gallery Videos): Sese Gel uses Apple’s system picker (`PHPickerViewController`) when a parent chooses to import a video from the device gallery. The app only accesses the single video file explicitly selected by the parent and copies it locally for offline playback with voice stops.
4. YouTube IFrame Player & Web Contact Form
If a parent adds a YouTube link in the Parent Area, the video is embedded via the official YouTube IFrame Player API using privacy-enhanced domain settings (`youtube-nocookie.com`) and child-safe touch shields that prevent tapping external links. On our website (`sesegel.com.tr`), if you voluntarily submit a message via the Contact Form, your name, email address, and message are used solely to respond to your inquiry.
5. How to View, Remove, or Reset All Data on Your Device
Because Sese Gel stores all family settings and practice logs locally on your device, you have complete, immediate control to delete individual items or wipe all data without waiting for any external request.
A. Reset All Practice History & Logs
- Open the Sese Gel app and tap Parent Area.
- Solve the adult verification math question.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Reset Activity Data”, then confirm. All word scores, watch counts, and timeline logs are erased immediately.
B. Remove Parent Voice Recordings
- Go to Parent Area → Mom / Dad Voice Prompts.
- Next to any recorded sound or praise slot, tap the red Trash Icon.
- The local audio file is permanently deleted from device storage and the app reverts to standard voice prompts.
C. Delete Custom Videos or Hide Default Videos
- Go to Parent Area → Video Management.
- Tap the Trash Icon next to any added YouTube or Gallery video to remove it immediately.
- Under Built-in Default Videos, tap “Remove” to hide any default video from your child's screen, or “Restore” to bring it back.
D. Revoke Device Permissions or Uninstall
- Open iOS Settings → Apps → Sese Gel on your iPhone or iPad.
- Toggle off Microphone, Speech Recognition, or Camera permissions at any time.
- Deleting the Sese Gel app from your device automatically removes all local directories, settings, and cached files.
